Dr Kirsty Lewis
Dentist
BDS, BSc (Hons) Dietetics
Dr Kirsty Lewis grew up locally in Devon and is proud to care for patients within the community she calls home. She qualified as a Dietitian before going on to study Dentistry at the Peninsula School of Medicine and Dentistry, giving her a unique dual-qualified perspective on health, healing, and long-term wellbeing.
Kirsty provides a wide range of restorative and cosmetic dental treatments, including Invisalign, with particular strengths in oral surgery and the management of anxious or nervous patients. She is known for her gentle, unhurried approach and for taking time to ensure patients feel listened to, informed, and comfortable throughout their care. Many patients who have previously struggled with dental anxiety find they are able to relax and regain confidence under her care.
She has a strong interest in oral health optimisation and the role of nutrition in supporting dental, facial, and surgical outcomes. Her clinical approach is calm, meticulous, and evidence-based, with a clear emphasis on prevention, education, and long-term oral health.
Alongside clinical practice, Kirsty is committed to ongoing professional development and works closely with experienced mentors to continually refine her skills. She is recognised for her high clinical standards and thoughtful, empathetic manner.
Outside of dentistry, Kirsty is a mother to two sons and enjoys weight training, long walks in nature, and cooking for family and friends — interests that reflect her belief in balance, resilience, and caring for health from the inside out.
