Alex graduated from the Royal London Hospital Medical and Dental School in 1998. She continued her work in hospital, as a Senior House Officer in Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Royal Surrey Hospital, Guildford.
Alex then gained her Fellowship in Dental Surgery in 2001, before traveling to Australia to work at Westmead Hospital, Sydney, rotating between Oral Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Forensic Dentistry. She became involved in teaching students and nurses, before going into Private Practice.
On returning to the UK, Alex continued to work in Private Practice and developed a special interest in Orthodontics and the prevention and management of dental trauma.
She completed an MSc in Orthodontics at the University of Warwick in 2016 and still continues to have links with the University as an Honorary Clinical Teaching Fellow.
Alex is also employed as a Speciality Doctor in Orthodontics at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
She is a keen runner, paddle-boarder and snowboarder and loves going to the slopes with her family.
